Hello hahahaha and welcome to your monthly Laughter Yoga health tip.
Working at a health food store for the past five years has brought about many incredible health benefits. Meeting alternative health care professionals is one of many. A friend of mine introduced the wonderful benefits of taking a daily dose of Omega-3 and Omega-6.
In my humble opinion, here are my findings from the study below.
Efamol’s pure Evening Primrose Oil is the oil from the seed of the evening primrose plant. Evening primrose oil is used for skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne. It is also used for rheumatoid arthritis, weak bones (osteoporosis), Raynaud‘s syndrome, multiple sclerosis (MS), Sjogren’s syndrome, cancer, alcoholism, Alzheimer’s disease, and schizophrenia, high cholesterol, heart disease, a movement disorder in children called dyspraxia, flu inhibitor and leg pain due to blocked blood vessels (intermittent claudication).
Some people use evening primrose oil for chronic fatigue syndrome (SFS); to increase brain cells, asthma; peripheral nerve health related to diabetes, fighting viruses, re-building the cell lining, an itching disorder called neurodermatitis; hyperactivity in children and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); obesity and weight loss; whooping cough and gastrointestinal disorders including ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer disease and hormone balance.
Women use evening primrose oil in pregnancy for preventing high blood pressure (pre-eclampsia), shortening labor, starting labor, and preventing late deliveries. Women also use evening primrose for premenstrual syndrome (PMS), breast pain, endometriosis, and symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes.
In foods, evening primrose oil is used as a dietary source of essential fatty acids. In manufacturing, evening primrose oil is used in soaps and cosmetics. One thing to watch for is evening primrose in meat and dairy form, (CLA).
Fats: Essential to our life
Fat comes in good and bad forms, and too much bad fat in your diet can contribute to obesity. However, too little fat can also be very bad for you, particularly if you’re very young – and too little of the vital Long Chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFAs) could contribute to a variety of health issues.
When you use Carlson Cod Liver Oil from the livers of fresh cod fish found in the Arctic Ocean waters of Norway you’ll receive your source of omega-3 fatty acids for the maintenance of good health. Recommended Use and Strength:
Take 2 capsules of Evening Primrose, (2000mg) in the morning with Vitamin L (laugh for one full minute or longer). At supper time take 1 Cod Liver Oil (1000mg), 1 Evening Primrose (1000mg), and Vitamin L (laugh for one full minute or longer).
Tip: Laugh heartily and sporadically throughout the day for optimal health and joy.
